Recently the girls in Kindy through to Year 12 welcomed their loved ones for 2022 Grandparents Day.
The day commenced with our Junior Years Grandparents spending time with their granddaughters at the Junior Years, where they were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of all the incredible class work our girls have been working on.
Our girls had prepared a number of displays and activities for our Grandparents to view and take part in. Our Years 4, 5 and 6 girls with their loved one in hand, then took part in a dance routine on the blue courts. By the amount of laughter and smiles, the morning was very much enjoyed by all.
All of our grandparents then came together on the Chapel Lawn for morning tea and a concert. All were treated to some wonderful choral, instrumental and dance routines, along with a very special performance by two of our upcoming Seussical JR castmates.
For some of our Grandparents, today marked their first occasion at Glennie, and for others it was their last, but for all of our Grandparents the opportunity to be included in their granddaughters Glennie experience will be treasured for years to come.
