Reaching new heights

The sounds of House war cries have drifted across Herries Street over the past week, in preparation of the 2022 Junior Years Interhouse Swimming Carnival.

Today, our Junior Years girls donned their red, green, yellow and purple swimming caps and got dressed in their very best and brightest in support of their House.

Well done to the large number of girls who have spent many months in swim lessons and training in the lead up to today’s carnival, especially to those girls who were heavily supported in the stands, to dig deep and make it to the end.

Congratulations to all of our Age Champions and Runners Up, and to Hale House who took home the House Shield for 2022, making it a clean sweep for the frogs in both the Middle and Senior, and Junior Interhouse Carnivals.

All of the girls should be proud of the way they encouraged and supported one another, both in the pool and in the stands. Particular mention needs to go to our House officials who were wonderful role models for other students.

Parents are invited to experience the Glennie House spirit at the upcoming Gather and Graze Welcome Evening.
