There may have been a tear or two shed this week, when our Year 12 girls celebrated their last 100 days at Glennie.

As the cupcakes were laid out, and balloons inflated, our graduating cohort filled the Year 12 courtyard at recess. The 100 days celebration is not just a time of celebration, but of reflection on the journey that has been, and this final as a high school student, leading into their final exams.

For some of these Girls, this day marked the final 100 days of a thirteen-year journey, with a very special group commencing their first day in Prep, all the way back in 2009.

To mark this heartfelt occasion, the girls; arm in arm, launched into a rendition of their war cry, led by our 2021 captains Sandra Miller and Kari Donaldson.

As the cheer came to an end, and our final few cupcakes were scooped up, our girls headed back to class, and into the final stretch of being a Glennie girl.
